January 2018
We are in the final stages of recoding our third album, Life Continuum.

“This is the first time I’ve cried in my studio!” said Oskar, our recording engineer, when we recorded “Ocean of Blue”. The album will be released at Ransäterstämman at the beginning of June, marking the start of our two month long album launch tour. For the second year running we are embarking on an international caravan tour. This time we will be playing in Sweden, England, Scotland, Wales and Germany, finishing up at Korrö Folkmusikfestival. A summer to look forward to.

Oskar, vår studiotekniker sa "Det här är första gången jag gråtit i studion" när vi spelade in låten Ocean of Blue till kommande platta.

A collaboration with storyteller Mikael Öberg, weaving stories and music from near and far. Here in Swedish, but the show can also be performed in English 🙂

August 2017
We recently returned home after 3 months on the road, including our 6 week UK crazy caravan tour. Thanks to all who helped us along the way – it was such an enriching trip, both as musicians and as a family. We enjoyed it so much we will be returning in 2018 to coincide with the release of our third album!

Here are some tour photos:

Daniel & Emma in Turkey

We’re blown away by the experience of playing with a symphony orchestra! Thank you to Suzi Ersahin of the Swedish Institute, the brilliant and openminded conductor Ender Sakpinar, Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediyesi Senfoni Orkestrası, the town mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen and AccessAbility Exhibition for a fantastic and inspirational collaboration. We were received with such enthusiasm, four encores and a handmade sculpture by the town mayor!

March 2017

On 31st March we will be soloists backed by Eskisehir’s Symphony Orchestra! We will be playing excerpts from Kalle Ankarblom’s brilliant piece Symphonic Stomp of Sweden, as well as some duos, to mark the opening of an exhibition produced by the Swedish Institute. We’re very excited!

December 2016

Thank you to those who have followed us during 2016. It has a been an exiting year with festival gigs, a collaboration with storyteller Mikael Öberg, church concerts and the premier of our folk music course SOLFOLKET! Emma has also been nominated for a Swedish Grammy with the project Blåferdi with Lena Willemark, and Daniel’s project Nybyggnan as been chosen to give a showcase at the Swedish Folk Awards 2017.

We are really looking forward to 2017, especially to our 6-week tour of the UK (with our family and our caravan!).  Thanks to the Swedish Arts Council for their support. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

August 2016

Coming up: This autumn we are setting up a brand new folk music course outside our hometown of Järna. 5 weekends in a year, for all ages. There will be ensemble and singing workshops for anyone over 10, and a kids workshop for anyone 0-10 (plus an accompanying adult). At the moment there are almost 40 people enrolled, which is fantastic! Here is a pic from our planning meeting, with the inspiring Solvik school behind us (where the course will be held):
